“My brows have always been my biggest insecurity, so day after day I would spend an average of 25 minutes perfecting them just to be able to face the world. I knew microblading was something that I wanted. No artist in KC lived up to my standards....until I saw Roslyn’s work. I was blown away. She NAILED my shape, which is super impressive because I am very picky and particular about my brows. During my actual blading session she took her time to make sure EACH stroke was perfect. I was extremely impressed by her portfolio, but her professionalism and impeccable studio blew me away. Also, my brows are perfect! I’m living my best life, I can’t wait for a hassle free summer with my perfect brows. Roslyn gave me the confidence to face the world with a bare face!!!!!”
Joanna Snook-Snow, Mac Pro Makeup Artist
Let me just say Roslyn is AMAZING!
I'm so thankful for her skill, time, and expertise. My eyebrows have turned out so much better than I could have hoped. She was able to give me a very natural color, make the hair strokes actually look like natural hair and they are symmetrical! She is truly gifted and I am forever grateful. Thank you Roslyn!!!

She made sure I knew all the after care instructions and was always available when I had questions. If you want amazing natural looking eyebrows that will make all your friends, and enemies jealous... Roslyn is your girl!”

“By far the most skilled microblading specialist in the Greater Kansas City Area. She knows her sh*t and her work is STUNNING. There's literally no-one else I'd let touch my brows. If you're even toying with the idea of having a procedure like microblading done you NEED to talk to Roslyn.”
(*)Hannah Koenig, Business Mentor and Success Coach
“After having researched microblading and artists in the area, I finally pulled the trigger and scheduled with Roslyn. I'm rarely speechless in life, but that's exactly how I was once she unveiled my new eyebrows. I was blown away by the amazing work that she did. I have always hated my eyebrows and felt like there was no hope for them to be rescued, man...WAS I WRONG! Roslyn took her time measuring and mapping out the new eyebrows (as an FYI, this does take up a good portion of your appointment, but it's SO WORTH IT). Her level of attention to detail, the color matching, everything is SPOT ON. You won't regret working with her!”
(*) Jessie Riedel, Assistant Director of Fundraising at Kansas University
“Roslyn is seriously a gem. Super professional and informative. She was completely transparent with every part of the process and on top of that, I’m in LOVE with my brows!”
Onna Louise Rinzler, Hair Stylist
Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup technique in which an artist uses a sterile blade to delicately place pigment beneath the surface of the skin creating crisp thin lines or “hair strokes” that simulate actual strands of hair.
This process is meant to be a natural, subtle looking enhancement that creates the illusion of fuller brows. Unlike traditional tattoos, microblading is designed to gently fade over time, allowing changes to be made to the color and shape over the years.
There is no downtime, however the brow will take about 14 days to fully heal. The brow will soften in color by up to 30-40%. During this period, after-care procedures should be carefully followed.
The Perfecting Session, done within 2 months of the initial treatment, is extremely important to ensure perfect results. This session is imperative to set the shape and color, and make any small adjustments if needed.
The level of discomfort is relatively minor. Most people report the experience to be similar in pain to tweezing. A topical anesthetic is used to numb the area. Slight redness in the area is common after the procedure. The feeling can be compared to the experience of a slight sunburn.
Other factors such as menstrual cycles also affect level of sensitivity.
Microblading lasts 6-18 months, depending on skin type… normal, oily, or dry, as well as the age of the client. It is not permanent like a tattoo, because the pigments are not implanted very deeply into the skin. Skincare is also a big factor in the duration of the results. Following aftercare instructions thoroughly is vital to the longevity and look of your tattoo.
It all starts with a good canvas! The eyebrow area must be healthy, strong, non-sensitive, and non-irritated.
Here’s how to get your skin ready for the procedure:
- Do not pluck/tweeze/wax/perform electrolysis one week before the procedure
- Do not tan two weeks prior to the service, or have a sunburned face
- Do not have any type of facial 2 weeks prior to the procedure
- Do not work out the day of the procedure
- Do not have botox or chemical peel 4 weeks prior to the procedure
- Do not take Fish Oil or Vitamin E one week prior to the procedure (they are natural blood thinners)
- Do not tint your eyebrows 3 days prior to the procedure.
In order to avoid excessive bleeding and poor color deposit:
- Do not drink alcohol 24 - 48 hours before your procedure
- Do not consume coffee before your procedure
- Do not take Aspirin or Ibuprofen for pain relief (or ANY blood thinners) prior to procedure
All pigments used are cosmetic grade, meaning that they are sterilized and purified for cosmetic use. The ingredients used have been approved by the FDA for cosmetic use. Be wary of products that have not met safety standards, including those that contain “vegetable dyes” that are unstable and may change color after time.
In addition, tools are single-use and discarded after the treatment.
I cannot treat you if:
- You are under 18
- You have diabetes
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding
