GENERAL THINGS TO AVOID
- DO NOT PICK OR RUB YOUR BROWS!!
- scabs must fall off naturally; removal of scabbing may result in more pigment loss
- THINGS TO AVOID FOR 14-DAY HEALING PROCESS:
- Sun
- Sweat
- Water
- Makeup
- THINGS TO AVOID FOR 30 DAYS POST-TREATMENT:
- Botox
- Laser or chemical peels
DAY ONE
- apply a thin layer of Aquaphor (provided) every hour throughout the day
- blot with gauze frequently to avoid buildup of lymph
- be very careful when eating and drinking (Avoid staining foods and beverages!)
- Avoid licking lips
- lips will be swollen and feel tight
- you may apply a cold pack for comfort
DAYS TWO - TEN
- apply a thin layer of Aquaphor (provided) throughout the day
- avoid licking, biting, or pressing on lips
- your lips should start to scab and feel tight around day 3
- DO NOT pick or peel your lips
- this will drastically affect your healed results
- after lips have shed the scabs, it is common for them to look uneven in color
- this is your body’s natural healing process and make take up to 8 weeks for color to even out
